Day trip

We went off to London on the train to have lunch at Darwin’s Brasserie with my brother and his wife.

Our train into London was fine, and we met up at London Bridge. We headed off for a walk along the Thames, crossed Tower Bridge, and continued to the 'Walkie Talkie' building, where we went up to the restaurant.

We had not paid for a window seat, but we were only one row back, so the view was still good. The food was nice, and we had a relaxed afternoon chatting and eating.

The trains home were delayed due to a tree having fallen on the line, but they got it sorted and we eventually headed back.
