Incy winsy spider

Was wandering round the garden this evening my camera with me as always and spotted this rudbeckia in bud. Thought it formed an interesting shape and then spotted the spider hiding underneath, possibly a garden spider. It seems to be that time of year when there are spiders everywhere. A great big 'Fred ' (house spider) ran across the room last night.

The hedgehog was here again last night and the cheeky pinemarten who bit its way into the new pack of peanuts that we had put under the arbour ready to be put away today.

I had to wait in today for Mr Tumble ( tumble drier engineer) as the drawer has been leaking from a join. We knew what the problem was and suggested they just sent a new drawer but, no an engineer had to come out. Lucky it's still under guarantee. He would be with us anytime between 9 and 1, lucky I was nt going anywhere anyway. He arrived at 11 and stayed for less than 5 minutes. Yes, you need a new drawer we'll send you one !
