Royal Mile: Beyond the Fringe

The Book Festival (which is the biggest event of it kind anywhere in the world, with nearly a quarter of a million visitors over the last fortnight) and the Fringe, which is the biggest arts festival in the world (selling very nearly two million tickets this year) both finished yesterday but 'The' Festival and the Art Festival run until the weekend and the Royal Mile is still fairly busy, though once again there are cars on the cobbles instead of street performers.
