Cinnibar

In recent years we have tried to avoid service stations and with a little bit of planning found much nicer places to have our lunch. Wildlife trust reserves are particularly good and there are hundreds up and down the country. This is Sonny with a Cinnibar caterpillar we found whilst having a stop at Idle wilds nature reserve in Notts.

"This spectacular wetland site covers an area of 450 hectares following the River Idle northwards. The size of 600 football pitches, it is one of the largest sites for nature conservation in the East Midlands."
