A Touch of Colour

This pretty pink rose brought a welcome touch of colour to a very grey day today. What a contrast to the recent blue skies we've been having, but I suppose I knew it wouldn't last!

Of course, this would have to be the very day we had our new PV solar panels fitted to the front and side roofs of the house:-) Amazingly, they started to generate electricity as soon as they were connected up in spite of the heavy cloud base, so we have high hopes for some money saving in the future. We're also feeling virtuous at doing our (very) small bit for the environment.

Still feeling rather tired after all our visitors, so may take a while to catch up with everyone, but you're always in my thoughts:-)
