Andy's old nickname is Phoebe, mainly because his surname said quickly sounds like Phoebe. Hilarious I know!

The weather thwarted our plans today. We set out and managed 3 hours worth of walking (interspersed by a significant amount of time in a tea room) which resulted in us being completely soaked to the skin! A swift decision to hit the pub was much welcomed, as was the wonderful food (Thanks to the Crown in Coniston!) before we spent longer than anyone needs to spend in the Coniston museum. The bluebird exhibit is very interesting though.

Rounded out the evening being fully LADish playing scrabble and jenga in a pub near the campsite. The weather may have stopped our hike, but it never stopped the fun!
