My onestreet bridge is swung for the Matthew

All traffic was stopped by bells and flashing lights so the road bridge (on the left) could be swung open to let the Matthew (replica of John Cabot's boat that took him to plant our flag on Newfoundland) pass through from the Cumberland Basin into the Docks. She had just performed a 'river dash' with a load of happy trippers - i.e. she'd gone out down the Avon Gorge to the Severn on the same tide as she came back on. My trusty steed is leaning against the railings on the left
