One side of Crossleys Chimney The huge octagonal Chimney which used to serve the Crossley Carpet Mills Halifax. It was a towering 380 feet tall when built but has been reduced to its current 250 feet. Its base measures 30 feet across and it is estimated that there are 10,000 tons of brick and stone in its construction.
