Our DC invested us all as Beaver Scout Leaders tonight when we took our ever expanding Beaver Colony to the beach. We've been in the job for a good while, some of us a loooong time but never officially received our neckers so that was all put right this evening much to the children's amusement.

Up until a few years ago B ran the whole group alone but has charmed a few of us into joining her and we've now become victims of our own success. The Colony is full to bursting with 24 Beavers and the waiting list has had to be closed for the foreseeable future.

The children have a ball and so do we and that's what it's all about.
