Marlborough

Planned to take a friend flying today, and as we had only got the plane for a two hour period, including getting it ready and fuelled etc. I opted to do a trip from th airfield, to Swindon and around it in a clockwise direction before returning cross country to Marlborough.

Great trip and some interesting sights to see. So many of the fields have ben harvested leaving stubble, others have lines of straw where it has not yet been baled up and still others are waiting the farmers attention. Then there are the green ones with sheep, or cattle or horses and also those that have been recently ploughed and presumably sown.

After landing we went into Marlborough for a late light lunch at The Mustard Seed (well worth trying) as well as a perusal of the books at the same time.

I got sent back to the car with a bag of purchases and them raced after Mrs TPV and our friend to 'help carry any future purchases'. On route I spotted this array of toys/games outside one shop, so here it is ... my 200th blip - gosh hasn't time flown by!
