LONDON - Old and New

Visit to my favourite place in London - South Bank. So vibrant, diverse, multicultural, just an amazing place to sit and watch the world go by but today "sitting" was not on the Agenda!!! From Waterloo we walked the South Bank, past the eye, Royal Festival Hall, Tate Modern, OXO tower, Gabriels Wharf, National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and Waterloo, Westminster, Millenium and Blackfriars bridges across the Thames before heading to Southwark the oldest London Borough to sample the delights of Borough Market (and oh my what delights can be found there!) finally crossing London Bridge to while away the rest of the day in Covent Garden......shame train home was so packed we had to sit in the luggage compartment.....ah well small price to pay for a brilliant day!
