In the balance

Not the best of weeks.

I took this photo on leaving work this afternoon.

The clock tower is Wakefield Town Hall.

The  scales of justice are above the former Crown Court building on Wood Street. This is an 1810 Neo-Greek style sandstone ashlar building which is empty and looking rather sorry for itself.

Slap bang in the middle of the recently improved Civic Quarter it is crying out for renovation.
