Thought it would be wrong of me not to squeeze a blip in this month in dedication of Ken Griffey Jr, a baseballer who batted professionally for 22 years most of that split over two stints at my team of choice the depressing Seattle Mariners.

This month he was inducted in to the MLB hall of fame (that's a big deal in the US), for his batting averages through the 1990's, Go M's! Rooting all the way from the UK.

He was nicknamed The Kid as he followed in the footsteps of his dad Ken Griffey Sr.
