We were going to need guns - lots and lots of guns

Guns aren't very common in the UK. Or rather, they're not in the circles I move in; it may very well be that in certain crime ridden or large country estates, the handgun or Purdey shotgun is frequently employed. But a trip to Arizona didn't seem quite right without firing my first ever real gun. Here you have the M4/AR-15, the Glock 17, and the AK47. I was surprised by how much recoil there was, particularly on the Glock. All in all, I'm glad they're not common in NYC either.
