Cute

The last topic for August 2013;
Had to finish with the Western Grey Kangaroo, this one was grazing alongside its parents until we stopped to take a blip, clearly too big to jump into mums pouch, she no doubt has another one in the pouch suckling away, the parents sped off and left this little one behind, they were not too far away though in the bush.
I wouldn't have gone any closer thats for sure, feisty little things, they give you a grunting warning, "that's close enough!" so although they look very cute when they are out in the wild like this, its best to leave them be, thats the way it should be. It wasn't long before they were back together in a group.
