At The Seaside

This is a back blip as I went to the seaside, Great Yarmouth, which is on the Norfolk Coast and did not arrive home until quite late in the evening. The weather was hot and sunny, which makes such a difference when you are at the seaside.

Oliver decided at 0730 hours, just as we were about to leave, that he did not want to go, his excuse was that we always do the same things. Yes, he was right, but this is a sort of ritual we have. If he had decided earlier that he did not want to go Victoria could have taken a friend instead. However, a few words from his father and he changed his mind! Here he does not look too unhappy and this was taken just after we had finished playing Crazy Golf.

We always leave home early and have breakfast of potato chips (or French Fries as they are sometimes called) and coffee as soon as we get there at about 0930 hours. Then we walk along the seafront to play Crazy Golf and as usual I came last! Oliver, who plays golf with his dad came first with Nikki my daughter and Victoria with the same amount of points; I was only one point behind them, but still last. After more walking along the seafront we returned to the Pleasure Beach, (funfair) where we spent the afternoon with them going on various rides; we also played for a long while on the slot machines. We tend to have snacks and drinks throughout the day and have a decent meal in a restaurant before coming home.
