Dawn over Baffin Island

The final leg of the journey was back from Edmonton to London – both significantly warmer than Cambridge Bay.

At one point on the flight I pushed up the window blind, to see a dramatic sunrise, and a look at the map on the inflight information screen showed me that I was pretty much directly over Iqaluit at the southern end of Baffin Island. It seemed like a suitable way to blip the end of the loop.

The Northwest Passage blips start on 14th August.
