Lyme Regis Folk Weekend

It's Lyme Regis Folk weekend and you can't go out without hearing the sound of bells or tripping over a Morris dancer. But...wow...these Morris dancers! First of all we saw some traditional ones walking around, white suits and brightly coloured ribbons, then a group wearing superb long coats made of lots of blue and black rag-ribbons and with pheasant feathers on their top hats and finally a Steam Punk brigade.
We'd missed the morning show on the Marine Parade but discovered another round of dancing would take place at 1pm at the Mill. The first two groups danced to traditional music but the Steam Punk crew moved to a version of "We will Rock You". Very entertaining. I was torn about what to blip but have gone for this musician from the Lodestone Border Morris dancers based in Tavistock.
