Boat

The canal is awash with boats this time of year. Not sure I fancy it myself. I like the freedom of it, but it seems a little basic accommodation-wise, and if I were able to have a holiday, I'd like to have to "rough it" less, rather than more than I do at home! And aside from the uncomfy beds, chemical toilets etc., it does seem a little bit too much more like hard work than a holiday should be!

This boat is going through the Glory Hole, having passed underneath Lincoln High Street. The building above with the leaded windows, is a lovely independent coffee shop.
