Sunshine on my shoulder

Silly me. I believed the myth that sunflowers followed the sun. THis one is apparently shy. But I have been trying to get the sun hitting the back of this thirteen foot tall sunflower for nearly a week. today: Success! The bee was a nice bonus too.

Here's the shot I took last night at the baseball game. I was playing around trying to capture a ball leaving a bat. I got a couple of successes, but the players didn't look elegant. in reviewing the shots from Prince Fielder, I realized I captured the ball bouncing off his shoulder. He just shrugged it off and jogged to first. Not bad from the upper deck!
