12 o'clock

Funny sort of day, awake at six but managed to go back off and was surprised when it was quarter to nine. It is nice to wake up without the help of an alarm clock.

First job was a trip to Trumpington car boot sale, I've never been to one before but Geoff wanted to go so that he could see what it was like as he is planning to take part next week. After about three years of thinking about it he has cleared out the garage so wants to go and sell some of it, at the moment he sees any extra money as going towards tickets to Bangkok or Christchurch.

Next job was some food shopping, not a lot as we seem to have loads still in the fridge and freezer.

Next and most important job was coffee, cake and the paper. Went into Starbucks as we fancied some fruit bread but were faced with a queue of ten cyclists in lycra, there is always plenty to be found in the Newport/Saffron Walden area on a
Sunday. Needless to say we ended up in Costa, where I thought I'd have a pain au raisin, no such luck so a chocolate twist it was. By the time we sat down it was 12 o'clock and time to blip!

Not the most interesting blip but there you go........

The rest of the day has been lost to housework which was nicely interrupted by a skype from Jon in Bangkok, he has a second interview and will have accepted one of two jobs by the end of the day, can't wait to go and see them just don't know when.

Still finding it hard that two of my four are around the world, in many ways I am so happy and proud of all my children but some days I just want to round them all up for a big hug and at the moment my arms just aren't long enough!
