Barbara

Continuing the project I'm working on (watermarkedhome.blogspot.com), today I traveled to Tooting to meet Barbara, the second swimming Barbara I've met. She is a member of the South London Swimming Club, who sound amazing. In the races they hold every Sunday swimmers are given an handicap; the idea being everyone, whatever level they swim at, have a chance of winning. They also have a cup for best baker, not based on who actually bakes the best cakes, but who contributes the most to the club through baking. I now want to live in Tooting, and spend my winters in 2 degree water racing (and probably being beaten by) 90 year old men named Cyril.
