A very fine sunset

I sometimes think a sunset photo to be the blip of the desperate, but the setting Sun this evening was a truly magical event, such was it's colour, and longevity in the overarching sky. This panoramic photo catches only a moment of the ever changing show, each second different and better than before. Our house on a hill top gave us a grandstand view. Summer may be over, but it looks like Autumn is making an impressive entrance.
