Dance at the Edinburgh Mela

Our daughter performed her dance at the Edinburgh Mela this afternoon, and as usual was totally unfazed by it all. I'm still amazed that our little girl can worry about the silliest little thing, but still have the confidence to appear on stage in front of hundreds of people.

After the main event (for us), I stuck behind to take more pictures of the excellent performers, and and was joined by a fellow photographer. If anybody in Blip-land is ever stuck for conversation with a photographer, then moan about the available light. That's guaranteed to illicit a reaction! Unfortunately, today this wasn't us being photographic divas. The lighting really was totally lousy, with pockets of near-darkness on the stage that needed over ISO 6400. And the dancers weren't exactly standing around like statues either.
