Italian Garden

Rather a dull, grey day today. We visited Towneley Hall, Burnley - always a good Polly walk - lots of squirrels!
This is the Victorian flower bed alongside the Hall, and is generally known as the Italian Garden.
Whilst the day was grey, the gardens were very colourful - so I did a bit of 'artistic rendering', and this is the result.

Note - the 'deer' in the right of the picture are not of the flesh and blood variety - more the wicker variety :-)
