Sheepish Contraptioneer

My Favourite Treat!

A Peanut.
Actually, I would take a Contraptioneer's Waffle over a peanut, but they don't come along every day.

My Contraptioneer has a new cellphone.
He told me how excited he was to find that he could set the camera to upload all his photos automatically to a dated folder on his home computer, to look at (and blip) at his leisure.
And only yesterday discovered a "motor-drive" feature just when he was fortunate enough to be witnessing a child standing in a creek skipping rocks up the water, and another in a nearby deeper spot, splashing and diving in the clear water.
On arrival home, he bragged to me (as he gave me a tasty treat) about the beautiful action shots he got in groups of eight, and could hardly wait to get to his computer and choose the very best one to blip.

Except there were no blippable creek-shots on his computer . . .
And none saved to his camera either . . .
Because the eight-shot motor drive function requires that you pause after each series and choose the best one to save . . .
Before doing the next series.
So, all he had were his pleasant memories.

Tonight, he found yet another function on his new cellphone that automatically takes a series of twenty shots . . .
And does automatically upload them to his home computer.
This photo is the result of his first test . . .
And I got yet another peanut . . .
And he's still smiling . . .

I hope he knows that he'll have to carefully manage all these automatically-uploaded photo files, or he'll quickly fill up his camera and his home hard drive!

Birds know these things.
