"Yesterday"...

...There was a slight hiccup in amongst the wiring, or the bowels of somewhere, resulting in some smoke and fumes and quite a state of confusion therein, whereupon Estelle had to try to sort things out a bit together with our good friends from Blipfoto and our good friends on Blipfoto who realized there was something dreadfully wrong - BUT - all ended well despite the tribulations of the day..and I thank those of you who alerted me to the indelicate disaster at the time..and so thence we proceed to another day with the Pelicans - this time - with Big Brutus - well, that's what I call him as he is much larger than the other pelicans I've shown you here..

...A friendly chap - he wasn't at all hungry as we saw a full loaf of bread and some, floating in the river there, obviously a little child had been a bit enthusiastic and the whole lot ended up there for the riverbirds..even the seagulls were well behaved as you can see here..on this sunny day once again...

...Across the river Murray there you'll see part of the Buronga caravan park, which does get a little underwater in parts when the river is high, and far in the distance, you'll see the main bridge which leads to New South Wales, another state..we are on the Victorian side...

...And so - the Pelicans are back for today..I know you like them...and they like us too..
