Omlette Arnold Bennett

The Jesmond Dene House Hotel is a lovely arts and crafts hotel converted from a private residence in Jesmond just outside Newcastle.
It's restaurant has a great reputation and along with it's fabulously popular afternoon teas it does a wonderful breakfast.
Eggs and smoked fish go really well together and my favourite ways of eating them is in an Omlette Arnold Bennet, so whenever I see it on a menu it's a must have.
This morning though was a difficult choice as everything they do here is great and I did manage to have some lovely cheese, gravadlax and some orange juice that actually was freshly squeezed, something that is not that common.
Brilliant breakfast, lovely hotel, great weekend.
