tally-ho!

a flyer took us to a horse and dog day at a local village.
it turned out to be a celebration of hunting skills, from 'pointer' dogs that would 'freeze' when the found the hidden quail to the local hunt - a local kindly explained to us what was happening. thank god my wife's french is upto scratch!
this was only the second time the event had been run so it was wonderfully disorganised!
