Not long now Mum...

We went for an excellent long walk this afternoon, all three of us. After parking the car up, we first walked along the banks of the River Devon until it flows into the Forth at Cambus, then turned away from the river and walked alongside and in amongst the mass of whisky bonds that seem to store the world's supply of Scotch Whisky at Blackgrange. Being Europe's biggest warehouse complex it apparently stores around 3 million casks of the good stuff. You can get an idea of the scale of the place from this aerial map. Couldn't find any holes in the fence though.

This picture is us back on the old Stirling Road heading back to the car. Our daughter's off with her pal to a caravan in Helensburgh for a week and whilst the place is very quiet with her away, we're all missing her. As much as Euan is loathe to admit it, he misses his big sister too, but some quality time with his maw and paw and a manly arm around his mum's shoulder goes someway to making up for this strange feeling. For the both of them.
