Way of the Cross

Sadly, the dude in the picture is nothing to do with me :(

Today we visited the charming town of Pollenca, a short 15 minute bus ride away. One of its chief claims to fame, and a source of civic pride, is the Via Crucis, a set of steep cobbled steps leading to a simple sanctuary. Although the sanctuary hosts some of the worst religious paintings ever, the views were magnificent.



Dad wisely waited for me at the foot of the steps. He was saving all his energies for sandcastle construction :)
