Alan from Aberdeen

Today my OH decided we should visit Oulton Park Race Circuit in Tarporley, Cheshire. He is off on holiday this week, i have been unwell again and he knows seeing the bikes always cheers me up.

The weather was fantastic and because it was a Motorcycle Track Day it would not be packed, perfect for getting some track side images and listening to the wonderful bike engines, oh yes and taking in the unmistakeable aroma of bike oil.

Managed to get a lot of video and pictures of the Marshals, the bikes doing their laps, some very funny van names that are related to bike injuries, trust me you don't want to know (very wicked sense of humour) and then i saw Alan taking a break between track times sat outside the Oulton Park Cafeteria.

Alan has been riding for 37 years, he rides a Yamaha Fazer 1000 in silver, he lives in Aberdeen and was down just for the track day. He was staying with family tonight and then travelling back home to Aberdeen tomorrow. Thanks Alan for letting me take your picture, i especially loved the amount of dead flies that were on your visor.

Had a fantastic day out, am exhausted and still have the sounds of the bikes going round the track and that smell of oil...

Off to rest, please forgive me if i am late commenting will try and do tomorrow:-)
