Cora

We had to have quite a bit of rest after the wig party. Then for supper on Sunday we went to see Paul and Elaine who had Cora and her very glamorous granny visiting before GG went off for an adventure for a few weeks.

It's astonishing how as soon as there's a baby the adults all ignore each other and spend their time amusing the baby! We had a great time and when Cora and GG had left, Cora for a nap, GG to finalise her packing, we all sat round chatting - adult time!

Paul was very proud that he'd spent what he reckoned was the least ever on a meal; almost everything had come from the allotment (he's the proud owner of several). It might have cost little but it tasted fantastic and for pudding home grown poached pears with chocolate sauce and ice cream
