A light

The train home from Glasgow disgorged me into Newcraighall station where Fiona and the boys were waiting to tag team me the rest of the way home. Two hours later it was I who sat in the car park of Newcraighall station waiting for Sadie, who had visited Granny and Grandad in Tullibody, to disembark. Yes, I've been thinking of synonyms for 'alight'. It seems such an anachronistic word now when repeated every 5 minutes by the train announcer.
