Writing

Rafi has been quite hard work today, but he's also achieved a lot. He managed to bottom shuffle his way out of the unit, downstairs in the lift ( by himself) and into the downstairs unit and under their dining table. After some careful negotiation Daniel managed to coax him out while me and Kiera went for lunch.
My blip shows some of Rafi's writing, the first full words he's written that aren't rude! He was playing a game with Kiera a bit like'Mr and Mrs' where they had to try and guess the others favourite 'colour' or 'film' for example. He did really well and didn't get frustrated.
We also managed to show him the hydropool as we're wanting to try him in it again next week (with the therapists taking a back seat) he wasn't too excited, but he didn't have a strong reaction against it either.
He 'face timed' two of his friends this evening and that made him really happy.
At bed time we couldn't persuade him to get into bed, and so had to leave him lying on the floor under a duvet. We went back to the unit an hour later and apparently he'd bottom shuffled out of his room and after some hugs and foot massages allowed the staff to put him to bed. He was still awake and Kiera spend a while describing his favourite foods to him and giving him a head massage. Rafi admitted he was being treated like a king!
