Hydrangea

One of the few flowers left blooming. The rest have succumbed to heat, drought, wind, beasties and general neglect! The situation is not likely to improve either as we are off on holiday tomorrow for almost three weeks, and the neglect will continue. By the time we get back it will be heading for autumn and it will be time to sweep up leaves and empty the pots and plant some bulbs for spring. And the best summer for years will be over!

It's the end of a long day. It was not a good idea to have an evening meeting the night before heading off but we don't fly out until evening so time to get the hair and nails and other unmentionable things done tomorrow, and finish the packing. Hubby finishes at lunchtime - then we're off. Merhaba Turkiye!
