Trial run...

... for my new sewing machine - new to me, anyway! Acquired from a friend on Freecycle. It's old and very heavy but seems to work perfectly, unlike the much newer, very lightweight machine I've been trying to work with.

No excuse for not making new curtains for the kitchen now...
