Scallions

I had not heard this name for salad onions until I moved to the north east of England. EP is mad for them and today on a quick jaunt to our local Waitrose, he noticed these scallions for sale. He couldn't have been happier if someone had bought him a bar of chocolate!! I was happy as I reckoned they would make a lovely fresh blip!
