Harrogate

In view of the weather forecast we decided to have a day out in Harrogate, as the floral displays are second to none. We visited the Mercer gallery to view the current exhibition of artworks then walked through the Valley Gardens. Lots of varieties of dahlias on display. Harlow Carr gardens was the next destination, where we had a delightful walk through the woods, then an ice cream at the garden cafe before viewing the flower borders and vegetable garden.
