the cap'n and krish hosted a well-deserved pool party today after their 800-mile (i've maybe slightly exaggerated) bike ride this morning, so those of us around this weekend were sure to stop by.

brother kyle (from whatever cult he looks like he belongs to) and tex (troy) were part of the fun as well. just a few drinks, a little swimming, and then some pizza later in the night (at a restaurant, not poolside), and that's all she wrote.

off to iowa again next week - i think this makes a record fourth trip this year.
