The cage game

Afer Forrest cut himself badly escaping from his crate I have developed a stratergy for leaving him.

I fill his Kong with something nice and sticky - yogurt, soft cheese or porridge and some biscuits. He happily goes in the crate so I pop one of Moss's toys against the door. When Forrest finishes his Kong he pushes open the door and potters about.

If I just leave him out, he comes to the door and gets very stressed and becomes destructive. So my new regime works for both of us, one happy dog with no cuts on his face and one happy owner - no damage or mess.
