Right act, wrong city

Was ite and abite in Glasgow city centre this afternoon and blipped this group of street dancers strutting their stuff in Buchanan St. They were pretty good (especially if break dancing is your thang) but I couldn't help think that they would have garnered more coppers in the hat if they'd been doing this on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. This was the opening weekend of the Festival and the place is absolutely jumping with strange people doing strange things all in the name of art (and a few bob).
