Met up with Madelaine & her twin Henrik (who is just as much a camera flirt as she, but with dark grey eyes that the girls will lurve in years to come) plus parents (she's American, he's German, they now live in London...for some reason) at the Kettwig Brunnenfest.

Three stages providing lots of live music, many stands and stalls offering food, beverage & shopping opportunities, tables to sit at, just a slight miscalculation as to the weather protection required.

We still managed to have fun, but then we had baggsied a table under shelter early on & successfully repelled all boarders...
