Team Bonding

The Portland Ultimate Summer League Tournament has four brackets:

The main bracket for the "real" championship is the "champagne bracket." If you lose the first game, you're bumped into the "budweiser bracket." If you win your first champagne bracket game but lose the second, you end up in the "microbrew bracket." If you lose your first bud bracket game, you end up in the semi-finals of the piss-warm PBR bracket. Well, we made it to the semi-finals of the PBR bracket... and lost.

That was a very complicated way of saying that we lost all 3 of our games. We were playing with very few subs and missing a few of our crucial players, but it was still a ton of fun. Our team was full of really good people who just love playing Ultimate. It sounds cheezy, but it was a great day and I'm really going to miss playing with 317.
