Voice and mind

We went to the Boulder Farmers Market today: multicultural beets, heirloom tomatoes, and people; vegan options; organic; gluten free; bearded; free range; Greenpeace; zero waste; double espresso; tres papusas.

A vendor had voice with an arrow tattooed on her neck and mind tattooed on her back with another arrow. We chatted about this a little but not enough because I spent the next couple of hours thinking about this. Was this a critique of the mindless use of the voice, or the voiceless ruminations of the mind? Was she inviting mindful verbal expressions. Or was she simply pointing to the locations of non-visible body parts? I'm going to need your help.
