An early shot of the bales in the field nearest our house from Maeve the Deerhound's 7am walk today.

Early grocery shopping today then Apothecary7, Maeve, and I went down to Carnoustie's seafront to meet up with MH and her friend who are here on holiday for a week.

We had a very nice walk which covered most of the usual route Maeve and I take most days, but in reverse. From Carnoustie's main beach we went along the 'boardwalk' (which is now a tarmac path) to Westhaven and the Fishermen's huts, the beach, and the field with the bridle path. All familiar sights to MH who lived at Westhaven for a while when she was a child.

We called in at our house for a cuppa and a sandwich before walking back down into Carnoustie to say goodbye where we had started. We were very glad that the weather had improved since yesterday and that we had sunshine all the way :-)
