...had:

a most informative day.
Still with a few achy bodyparts from yesterday's frenzy - but with a refreshed (? as if but there was coffee) brain for some input.

National monument day and special events in the category 'disagreeable monument'. I enjoyed an absolut interesting lecture about the 'Marburg construction type' (of which I didn't knew it existed until this afternoon) about a very large part of the local uni area.
This gem is rather atypical for the construction type but (should have been) an important element in the entire concept.
I'm fascinated! And so are a few other people of the county monument conservation department too. Well, being in stark contrast to a majority of ignorants who are working to find an affordable way to demolish the area.

And for a bit of variety, a visit to the collection of the physic's faculty and a climb onto the historical observatory tower to learn about north stones, clock time adjustment and all that.

Please visit me at knackered.com - shit, Monday tomorrow and I hadn't rested at all...
