Ballroom Art, The Northern Hotel, Aberdeen

We visited the Hotel this morning, to attend a church service. Quite a venue, as it is an Art Deco style "A" listed building, built in 1939. It is in good repair inside and out.

I rather liked this life-size striking artwork on the wall of the Ballroom. The room is violin shaped, and is the largest dance floor in Aberdeen.

Another blue sky day, a lovely lunch with the family, before taking #1 back to his flat with a few new acquisitions, such as teapot, cafetiere and an ample supply of good coffee.
