Langøyene

Portable BBQs, beer and frisbee on Langøyene in the Oslofjord. The frisbee got lost in the water but the barbecues didn't! It was the last day the ferries went to the island so not much chance of recovering said frisbee this year. Langøyene was originally two islands, but in the first half of the 20th century the strait between them was filled in with landfill - earlier this year the island was closed to the public after it was discovered that the landfill area was contaminated, but it reopened after a week or so with warnings about drinking the water and playing or camping on the landfill area.
