the local under a crescent moon.

It's "Get Reading' week and tonight's library 'Meet the Author' event is one of those listed on the 50 books to take to bed with a cuppa (and handful of maltesers!)

Michael Rowbotham writes psychological thrillers and has also penned many a book as a ghost writer. What a fantastic speaker too! Funny, engaging and with a host of stories as to how he writes and where his ideas come from...a previous life as an investigative journalist has certainly provided him with a wealth of possibilities.

The local library is, handily, just across for the road from the village's 1900s pub and tonight it was literally glowing under a crescent moon.
I think there may well be an opportunity soon on a sunny afternoon to return with signed book in hand and settle down in the courtyard with a beer and get reading :)
